Authorities: 2 marked police cars crash while responding to Atlantic City robbery

The crash occurred on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Pacific Avenue.

Two marked police cars were involved in a crash Friday while responding to a robbery in Atlantic City.
Police say the two officers were trying to reach the scene of the robbery on Park Place. The crash occurred on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Pacific Avenue.
According to police, “After the initial impact, one of the vehicles struck a traffic control device that fell over and impacted the roof of a third vehicle."
The two officers were hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
