Mayor Marty Small, as well as the town of Atlantic City, will rename a park today in honor of a 10-year-old boy killed last November while at a Pleasantville High School football game.

The Maryland Avenue Playground, located at the 800 block of Maryland Avenue, on the Brigantine Boulevard side, will be called the Micah "Dew" Tennant Park. The ceremony at 3 p.m. is on what would have been his 11 birthday.
The boy was killed last November while at a Pleasantville High School football game.
According to authorities, there was a gang-related shooting last year in the bleachers. The child died five days later. Six men have been charged in the shooting.
