Police have arrested a man whose SUV plowed into a Dunkin' Donuts store in Jersey City, injuring eight people.
Marco Guardiola has been charged with DWI, reckless driving, eight counts of vehicular assault, speeding and other motor vehicle charges.
A 14-year-old girl and a pregnant woman were among eight people injured when the 55-year-old's SUV crashed through a window.
Jersey City fire and emergency services director Armando Roman says the girl was in the doughnut shop with her mother and sister and sustained head trauma and two broken legs.
Roman says the girl, the pregnant woman and another woman remain hospitalized. Three people, including the driver, were discharged from the hospital this morning. Two people were treated at the scene.
