Police are investigating a Thursday morning armed robbery in Fort Lee.
The suspects allegedly forced their way inside a home at 200 McCabe Ave. around 10 a.m. According to police, no shots were fired.
Nobody was injured in the incident. Police have not yet determined if the suspects stole anything.
Authorities say at least five suspects remain at large and at least two of them were armed. Police spent the day probing the crime scene and using translators to speak with the victims.
Investigators are trying to put together sketches of the suspects. They also dusted the premises for prints and removed a screen door as evidence.
Neighbors like Matthew Ranieri say the robbery doesn?t make sense and describe the victims as nice people.?We've never had any problem in this block like this,? says Ranieri. ?This is very unusual.?
