Officials are asking the public for help in identifying two armed male suspects who they say used a car to rob a cooking oil and recycling company in Newark last week.
They say the suspects robbed World Grease on Libella Court around 6 a.m. on Jan. 31. According to officials, one of the employees was about to open the business when one of the suspects held that employee at gunpoint.
The suspects demanded money and forced the worker into an officer where $12,000 was taken, officials say.
They say both suspects entered the get-away vehicle, a blue 4-door Honda, and fled south on Libella Court. One of the men was wearing black clothing and a ski mask, and the other man was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and a ski mask.
Anyone with information about the suspects and vehicle should call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
