Apothecarium, Lodi’s dispensary with drive-thru option, holds grand opening party
A Lodi dispensary that features New Jersey’s first drive-thru option held grand opening celebration on Saturday.
The Apothecarium officially opened on July 27, but will be celebrating it’s early successes today with a farmers market style party that will include special guests.
Workers at Apothecarium touted the online ordering options and easy pick-up at the dispensary.
“About 70% of people are placing their orders online. It's a pretty normal thing over the last couple of years, especially through COVID,” said Chantelle Elsner, senior vice president of retail of marijuana company TerrAscend.
Recreational marijuana has been legal in New Jersey since April of this year, and tax revenue eclipsed more than $4 million by the end of June, according to a release from the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
The CRC also reports that there was a small decline in medicinal sales in the first quarter, but those numbers are on the rise again and the focus continues to be on medical patients.
