AMC launches private theater rentals program, starting at $99 for up to 20 people

Private movie showings are coming soon to an AMC theater near you, after the company launched a private theater rentals program.

Private movie showings are coming soon to an AMC theater near you, after the company launched a private theater rentals program.

The program allows customers to rent out a showing at any of AMC's 600 screening rooms across the country.

RELATED: AMC lets customers rent out whole theaters

The starting price for one showing is around $99 for as many as 20 people. For new movies, the starting price jumps to $149.

Private showings can be booked on AMC's website or app.
