12ds agoA motorcyclist died after a crash Saturday evening in Newark.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office said it happened at the intersection of Thomas Street and Dawson Street.
Prosecutors say a motorcycle was speeding when it hit a car's bumper, then lost control.
The motorcyclist identified as Leandro Cardoso Da Costa was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver of the car was not injured and stayed on scene.
