Alleged terror suspect Ahmad Rahami is expected to be arraigned on state charges in Union County Thursday, according to ACLU attorney Alexander Shalom.
Rahami is expected to make his court appearance via Skype because he is still at University Hospital recovering from injuries he sustained during his arrest.
Rahami is accused of planting bombs in Seaside Park, Elizabeth and New York City last month. He was arrested days later after getting into a shootout with Linden police.
The Seaside Park bomb went off just before a Marine charity 5K race was scheduled to begin. No one was hurt.
About 30 people in New York City were hurt when that bomb went off.
Thursday's arraignment will only cover the state charges against Rahami. He will still face federal charges related to the bombings.
