Newark Liberty International Airport employees were given tips recently to make holiday traveling less nerve-racking for people trekking in and out of New Jersey.
?Travelers get stressed,? says Resiliency Edge?s Tom Murphy. ?Then the stress travelers feel spills over to workers.?
Resiliency Edge is teaching workers how to handle upset travelers better and keep the airport calm. Hundreds of employees will eventually go through the course.
"We teach them to be problem solvers,? says Murphy. ?Three steps: stay calm, give the traveler info and thirdly brain storm with travelers."
