A New Jersey grand jury indicted a Jersey City man Friday after authorities alleged the man ran a prostitution ring, enslaved the women and forced them to use drugs.
Allen "Prince" Brown is accused of operating a human trafficking and prostitution ring out of a luxury high-rise in Jersey City. Authorities say the 47-year-old Brown took away women's cell phones and identifications, kept them in locked rooms and even became violent with them if they didn't meet a daily quota of up to $1,000.
"These women were forced to prostitute every single day - Thanksgiving, Christmas - there were no holidays," New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram says.
