The owner of Cuban Pete's restaurant in Montclair says he will begin to obey Gov. Phil Murphy's rules on indoor dining after defying it for weeks.
Dominick Restaino was cited three times for violating the 25% capacity limit, and police tried to shut things down last week.
Restaino now says he'll obey the rules, even if he doesn't agree.
"My thing is this, either we open up all together or we close like in the beginning with just takeout and delivery,” says Restaino. “That's what we should do. You can't do it. We have to either do shut down for takeout, or be open with the whole restaurant. There's no in between."
Restaino says he's operating at 25% capacity, with social distancing rules in place.
