WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

It is a cold start to the day with some areas dealing with frost, especially in the Catskills.

Temps are trending at their coolest levels for the week for daytime highs. Many locations will struggle to get to 60 degrees.

Widespread frost and freeze concerns are around tonight as temps dip below the freezing point of 32 degrees. This officially ends the growing season for most locations in the Hudson Vally.

Friday looks and feels better with sunny skies.

Saturday has mostly sunny skies, but clouds move in through the second half of the day.

Sunday into Monday, there is the potential for rain and wind to return to the region as a coastal storm moves up the East Coast.

The timeframe of the storm is Sunday midday through the entire day Monday. Tuesday has breezy winds lingering as the system pulls away.
