A vaccination campaign happened at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, where 8,700 Afghan refugees have gotten vaccinated against COVID-19.
The thousands of refugees have been flown in the last two months.
As well as COVID-19, they are getting vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox.
The refugees went through medical and background screenings before they were allowed into the United States.
The vaccination campaign began Sept. 8 and concluded Sept. 12.
