Police say 5 passengers were hurt after an MTA BX 6 bus collided into a BX 5 bus on Hunts Point Avenue Thursday night.
Investigators say the crash happened at around 9:58 p.m. between E 163rd St and Hunts Point Avenue.
We’re told the BX 6 bus was headed eastbound on Hunts Point Avenue when it struck the back end of a BX 5 bus that was parked on the street. Police say the BX 5 bus had passengers inside.
Citizen video shows EMS and police crews surround the buses after the crash, as a passenger required assistance after her leg was stuck between seats caved in in from the impact .
FDNY says at least 3 victims were taken to a local hospital and are expected to be ok.
At this time the investigation continues to find out what led up to the impact.
The MTA has not responded to a request for comment.
