Four people were shot in Trenton Thursday night just a few hours after gun reform advocates held a “March for Our Lives” rally outside the New Jersey State House.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office says that 43-year-old Ralph Conquest was killed and three others injured in a shooting on the 200 block of Hamilton Avenue. It happened around 10:30 p.m.
Hours earlier, activists fighting for an end to gun violence held a rally not too far away.
News 12’s Brittany Miller spoke with organizer Raisa Rubin-Stankiewicz about the rally and what should be done to stem gun violence.
