Four Belleville police officers and one civilian are facing charges for allegedly getting involved in a bar fight in North Arlington last month, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
The officers, who were off duty at the time, were allegedly involved in a large fight with civilians inside the bar in the early morning hours of Oct. 21. That fight apparently spilled out into the street until local police officers broke it up.
Officers Marco Zarfino, Jesse McKeough, Giovanni Casillo and John Clarizio are all facing simple assault and other charges.
Vasilios Theofanidis, a pool technician, is also facing similar charges.
Authorities did not immediately say if the officers would be facing any disciplinary action on the Belleville police force.
