Three people face charges for allegedly cutting a child and making her watch animals be slaughtered as part of a religious sacrifice.
Police arrested Yenitza Colichon, Julio Cano and Zahira Cano at 230 Pacific St. in Paterson Tuesday. Colichon is the girl's mother.
A published report says the incident occurred in May. Investigators allegedly found bones, machetes and bundles of sticks with blood and animal hair on them after a search of the Paterson home.
