U.S. Marshals arrest NJ man charged in 2021 Connecticut homicide
Authorities say the suspect was found in New Jersey after a fugitive task force tracked his location.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a Camden man Wednesday who was accused of a deadly shooting in Connecticut in 2021.
Curtis Cole, 47, is charged with murder in connection with the June 6, 2021, shooting death of 38-year-old Jonquay Morrison in Hamden, Connecticut.
Hamden police said officers responding to reports of gunfire at Hamden Park Drive found Morrison suffering from gunshot wounds. He later died from his injuries.
Authorities said an arrest warrant for Cole was issued July 23 after an extensive investigation. The Connecticut Violent Fugitive Task Force developed information indicating Cole was in New Jersey and asked the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force to assist.
The task force located Cole in Camden, New Jersey, and arrested him without incident, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. He is being held at the Camden County Sheriff's Office pending extradition to Connecticut.
Cole is also charged with illegal discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and criminal possession of a pistol or revolver.
