A man was arrested after police say he threatened a woman and their child and chased the woman from a Fairview residence with a knife over the weekend.
Fairview police said officers responded to a domestic dispute around 8:30 p.m. Saturday and met with the woman when they arrived.
Police said Eswaur Herrera-Garcia threatened to harm the woman and their child during an argument before chasing her outside the home with a knife.
Herrera-Garcia was arrested and charged with two counts each of aggravated assault and terroristic threats, as well as possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon and endangering a child.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail.
