Police say the victim was found with a gunshot wound on Whittaker Avenue late Sunday night and later died at the hospital.

A 29-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday night in Trenton, according to police.
Trenton police responded around 11:35 p.m. to the area of 629 Whittaker Ave. for a report of a shooting in progress.
Officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force is investigating the shooting.
Police did not immediately release the victim's name or provide information about a possible suspect.
