Firefighter injured while fighting Bedford Park blaze

A firefighter was injured after responding to a fire inside a building in Bedford Park on Saturday, according to FDNY.
The 911 call came in around 6:30 p.m. for a fire on the first floor of 3157 Villa Ave.
21 units and 79 fire and EMS personnel responded to extinguish the blaze.
One firefighter sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
The fire was placed under control at 7:08 p.m.
The cause is under investigation.
