NJ Transit FIFA World Cup fare prices decreased for second time

Fares were originally announced to be $150 and were then decreased to $105. They were now decreased for a second time.

Round-trip New Jersey Transit tickets to the FIFA World Cup have been reduced to $98, according to Gov. Mikie Sherrill.

The governor made the announcement Tuesday evening on social media.

“Thank you to our partners – DoorDash, Audible, FanDuel, DraftKings, PSE&G, South Jersey Industries, and American Water – for helping make this possible,” Sherrill wrote in a post on X.

Fares were originally announced to be $150 and were then decreased to $105.

Tickets go on sale May 13 on the NJ Transit app.
