New Jersey can already claim bragging rights after hosting the World Cup. Now, the Garden State has another claim to fame: feeding the champions.
Hours after its 1-0 victory over Argentina, Spain’s national team celebrated its historic win by ordering several pizzas from a shop in West Orange.

"Champions are eating our pizza tonight," Bagels by Jarrett posted on Facebook after receiving the order.
Two weeks earlier, the shop — which serves both bagels and pizza — also served Norway’s team after its win over Brazil.
The business said on social media that about four months ago, it began tweaking its pizza dough recipe until staff felt they had perfected it. That breakthrough came the same day Spain won the World Cup.
"After the most frustrating months I finally nailed it," the shop posted. "An hour later Spain’s pizza order came in."
The shop said the effort paid off, not just for the champions, but for the business as well.
"No one involved with tonight’s meal ever gave up," the post read. "Congrats, Spain! Enjoy the pizza, have a celebratory cocktail and a safe flight home. Thank you for trusting a bagel shop with your first meal as champions."
