Fans of the United States Olympic women’s hockey team gathered at American Dream on Thursday to cheer on the team as they took on Canada for the gold medal.

The watch party was held in conjunction with the New York Sirens, a professional women’s hockey team.

Fans erupted with cheers as Team USA won its third gold medal in women’s hockey.

American captain Hilary Knight forced overtime by tipping in Laila Edwards’ shot with just over two minutes remaining in the game.

Megan Keller scored the winning goal with a backhanded shot just over 4 minutes into overtime.
