Twenty phones were swiped from concertgoers at the Brooklyn Paramount earlier this month, according to the NYPD.

The pick-pocketing spree took place during a Hot Mulligan concert on Nov. 7.

Police say the victims discovered their phones were missing around 8:30 p.m. while inside the Downtown Brooklyn music hall.

The phones were turned off after the theft and could not be tracked.

No arrests have been made.

Some of the victims took to social media to warn others about the incident. After days of inactivity, they say the phone's location had moved from Brooklyn to China.

Other concertgoers told News12 they’ve seen this happen at various venues and festivals.

According to a spokesperson for the NYPD, pickpocket complaints are down 11% citywide, with 1,318 incidents so far this year compared to 1,474 in 2024.
