Man accused in rage shooting outside Stockton University to remain in jail

The man accused of shooting a woman in a road rage incident outside of Stockton University’s Galloway campus will remain in jail until his trial begins, a judge ruled.

Ernest Heinz is facing attempted homicide charges related to the Sept. 11 incident.

Authorities say Heinz and the woman got into an argument and then he allegedly shot her.

The woman is recovering and in stable condition.

Heinz is a professional actor. According to IMDB.com, he has had several small roles on television and in movies, dating back to around 2002 – including an uncredited role as “thief” in HBO’s “The Sopranos."
