A crash involving three vehicles left a man dead Friday in Plainsboro, according to police and the Middlesex County prosecutor.
Authorities say it happened just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of Route 1 South and College Road.
An Acura TSX struck the back of a dump truck, knocking it into the left lane. It was then struck by a Hyundai Genesis.
The driver of the Acura was killed. Police identify him as 20-year-old Johnathan Martinez, of Somerset.
His passenger was also hospitalized in critical condition. The drivers in the other vehicles suffered minor injuries.
