Police: 14-year-old struck, killed by 2 cars on Garden State Parkway
Police say one of the vehicles that hit the girl left the scene and kept driving on the Parkway.

Police say a 14-year-old girl was struck and killed by two cars on the Garden State Parkway in Montvale.
Officials say the girl was hit Thursday around 5 a.m. They say a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling south behind another unknown vehicle near milepost 171.1. The Chevrolet Tahoe traveling behind the other vehicle subsequently struck the girl.
The driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe contacted police in Bloomfield to report "striking something" in the roadway, officials say. The other vehicle that hit the girl kept driving south on the parkway.
Police are investigating the crash.
