The NYPD says one person slashed another person with a machete at the East Tremont subway station on Dec. 7.

Police say the machete caused lacerations to the victim’s left wrist and leg.

The NYPD also says that another man punched a second victim and attempted to steal the victim's phone.

The phone was recovered. The victim, who was punched, suffered swelling and a laceration to their right eye.

The NYPD says both victims are in stable condition.
