Two dogs were found abandoned in the woods of a Monmouth County park, including one with glass shards in her stomach.

The French bulldogs, named Diamond and Sapphire, were found in freezing conditions at Shark River Park. Rescuers say the dogs were severely underweight and left to fend for themselves.

The Monmouth County SPCA took the dogs in and discovered glass in Diamond's stomach, which was surgically removed.

The rescue group says it is accepting donations to help with her recovery.
