2 crashes occur hours apart on Route I-78

Two crashes occurred on Route I-78 Sunday, closing the highway for hours. At least three medevacs were called to the scene of a crash in Lebanon. The extent of the injuries in that crash is unknown

Two crashes occurred on Route I-78 Sunday, closing the highway for hours.
At least three medevacs were called to the scene of a crash in Lebanon.
The extent of the injuries in that crash is unknown at this time.
About three hours earlier, police responded to another crash scene near Exit 12 in Union Township where a van flipped over, backing up traffic for an hour.
News 12 is told that several people were injured, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
At least one New Jersey State Police helicopter was seen taking passengers from the crash site.
There have been at least four crash-related deaths on Route I-78 since May between the Pennsylvania Border and the I-287 Interchange.
