A new inclusive playground is coming to Bergen County, funded by a $1 million state grant.

The park will be built at the Riverside County Park in Hackensack. It will feature safety surfaces, shading, fencing and a quiet play area. Other features include better lighting, safer walking routes and closer parking.

Officials say that the hope is to create a space for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
