A 12-year-old girl is dead after a three-alarm fire in Freehold.Investigators say the blaze broke out at a home on Monument Street at around 3:30 a.m. According to authorities, the fire started on the first floor and quickly spread to the third floor. Authorities say the girl was trapped on the third floor during the fire. Her mother and two sisters were able to escape the blaze. The girl's mom was taken to the hospital and her sisters are staying with relatives. Fire officials say there was a fatal fire at the same home several years ago. The brother of one of the girl's friends says the victim knew someone died in her home and believed it was haunted.
