At age 71, Hamilton Township resident Carol Curtis is believed to be New Jersey’s oldest college student.

Curtis was already an older student when she graduated from Rider University 10 years ago.

Degree in hand, for most, that is when formal education ends. But not in Curtis’s case, she kept taking classes.

She says that she has a lot of interests and a thirst to know more. She says that she doesn’t plan on ever leaving school and will always seek out knowledge.
