Yonkers teen attacked at Bronxville Public Library

Bronxville police say they received a report of an unprovoked physical attack that happened at the Bronxville Public Library on Jan. 5.

Police say a 14-year-old Yonkers resident was punched several times by 30-year-old Bronxville resident, Molly Staunton.

Wednesday coverage

Staunton was arrested on Jan. 6 and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance after being served with a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victim and has been told not to visit the library.

Police say the victim suffered no physical injuries.

Staunton is set to appear back in court on Jan. 21.
