Some New York Yankees were at Paterson’s historic Hinchliffe Stadium on Wednesday holding a baseball clinic for some kids in the city.
The event was part of the Yankees’ HOPE Week initiative. It coincided with the 76th anniversary of Paterson native Larry Doby breaking the American League color barrier.
Hinchliffe Stadium recently reopened after undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation. The stadium is famous for being part of the Negro Leagues.
