A new public art installation inspired by the FIFA World Cup is bringing oversized soccer ball sculptures to public spaces ahead of the tournament final at MetLife Stadium on July 19.

The Art of the Game exhibit combines sports, culture and creativity by transforming soccer’s most recognizable symbol into a collection of larger-than-life public art installations.

The sculptures will remain on display in public spaces throughout the summer, giving fans an opportunity to experience the artwork.

The pieces are also being auctioned, with the lowest estimated bid currently around $20,000.
