“I was visiting my daughter, in her house and I heard a loud crash, and I looked out the window and I saw a flipped over BMW that had smashed into my car that I parked across the street from my daughter's apartment,” John Curry says. “Some of the neighbors said they saw them get into another car and get away.”
Other neighbors say that the people who got out of the crashed BMW were armed with guns.
The BMW appeared to still have car dealer license plates on it.
Newark police were not yet able to provide full details on the incident.
