Newark’s nighttime winter curfew for juveniles is now in effect.

Under the curfew, anyone under 18 years old can't be more than 100 yards from their home without a parent or guardian.

The winter juvenile curfew runs from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.

The city enacted a similar curfew over the summer, giving summonses to guardians.
