A winter storm hit New Jersey Friday, with a mix of snow, ice and rain creating dangerous road conditions for motorists.
Close to 100 reports of accidents were made across the state due to the messy roads. The wintry conditions also caused nearly a third of flights at Newark Liberty International Airport to be canceled.
The heaviest snow fell in northwestern New Jersey. Sussex County received more than 6 inches as well.
