Warm and humid conditions continue today with thunderstorms popping up after 2 p.m. this afternoon. These storms will be small but scattered across western and northern New Jersey only. The beaches should be fair and fine today with a sea breeze of 15 mph. Clouds build tonight and linger into tomorrow morning. The smoky haze also lingers until a front passes through on Saturday.
Although tomorrow won't be a terrible day, the thin clouds, warm temperatures, and high humidity remains for the first half of the day. It becomes stormy in the afternoon as puffy cumulus clouds develop by 1 p.m. followed by scattered thunderstorms across much of central and northern New Jersey. These storms form a line by 3 p.m. and begin moving toward the coast, where rain can be expected at the beaches in the late afternoon/early evening by 5 p.m. The storms move offshore, and quiet weather follows behind the storms overnight.
Clouds linger into Sunday where it will be cooler with highs in the 60s/70s across New Jersey. There could be a quick round of showers overnight Sunday into Monday where Monday is trending fair with a partly sunny sky. Tuesday will be the next day with a chance for passing thunderstorms.
