Gov. Murphy says the state could be on the verge of a much wider reopening, and announcements could come as soon as this afternoon.
The governor says we can expect a "whole lot of guidance" over the next week as he reopens the state further.

"We've got to make sure things are in fact going in the direction that we want to go in,” says Gov. Murphy. “We've been on a one-way street folks and we don't want to have to turn the car around and go back the other direction. So, let's keep it that way."

If New Jersey enters phase two of its reopening plan, it could mean expanded retail and the return of outdoor dining.
Murphy says there's been a lot of comfort in the data as of late, but he continues to be cautious, not wanting to be forced to take any steps backwards as the state continues to try and move forward.
