A series of rain events will move through Connecticut in the next few days. There's a chance of rain starting late Friday to early Saturday. Early Saturday morning has the potential for spots of freezing rain, leading to slippery surfaces.

The drizzle and light rain will continue throughout the morning and clear out by evening.

Sunday brings rain chances as well, but it appears to be a quick round of light to moderate rain in the morning that clears out by the second half of the day.

TONIGHT:  Clear and very cold. Low of 19 degrees.

FRIDAY: Sun and clouds, late night rain could have freezing components and could make for hazardous travel. High of 40, low of 25.

SATURDAY: Drizzle and light rain. Early morning could involve spots of freezing rain. High of 42, low of 37. 

SUNDAY: Rain chances again. High of 52 , low of 43.
