A wheelchair-bound teen says he just wanted to see a motorcycle for his 15th birthday, but today he got much more than that.
Joe Volfman was surprised by more than a dozen motorcycles and initiated into the Red Reaper Motorcycle club this afternoon.
The teen lives with cerebral palsy and told his mother he never really felt like he was part of anything. So his mom pulled some strings, worked with some local police departments and gave her son a supercharged birthday surprise.
"Because of Joseph's disability, he faces a lot of challenges every day of his life and often he finds himself as the outsider looking in, and always wanting to be a part of a group," says Elizabeth Volfman. "This event is amazing. He's definitely a part of a group."
His mother says Joe always liked motorcycles and doesn't usually like surprises, but he loved this one.
