What's Cooking: Pepperoni Pinwheels from Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace

Ingredients

½ lb. Prosciutto Cotto (Sliced thin)
½ lb. Pepperoni
1 ½ Qt. Shredded Mozzarella
2 cup Pecorino Cheese
1 ea. Pizza Dough
¼ cup Sesame Seeds

Instructions

1. Stretch the pizza dough out on a flat surface making sure to stretch it as thin as possible.
2. Using a pizza cutter or a knife cut off the very edges of the dough to form a uniform rectangle.
3. Mound the shredded mozzarella cheese onto one edge of the dough.
4. Wrap the cheese with the dough.
5. Place the ham onto the remaining portion of the dough.
6. Place the pepperoni evenly across the ham.
7. Place the remaining half quart of cheese onto the pepperoni.
8. Sprinkle the pecorino cheese onto the mozzarella.
9. Roll the log up making sure to not to roll it up tightly.
10. Pinch the edge closed to make sure it does not unwrap when baking.
11. Cut the roll 3 fingers wide, making 8 rolls.
12. Place them onto a papered sheet tray.
13. Press them on the tray to flatten them slightly and make them wider.
14. Place them into a 450⁰ oven for 10 minutes.
15. Rotate the tray and place back into the oven for another 10 minutes.
16. Remove the tray from the oven and allow to cool.
