WEATHER TO WATCH: Tracking series of thunderstorms over the next few days

Storm Watch Team meteorologists are tracking a series of thunderstorms that are expected to impact New Jersey over the next several days.
WHAT’S NEW: Thunderstorms are possible Wednesday and Thursday.
WHAT’S NEXT: Rainstorms develop Thursday afternoon and evening.
OVERNIGHT: Rain showers become less numerous late at night. Temperatures dip into the mid- to low-60s.
WEDNESDAY: Rain showers are expected early in the morning. Sunshine returns by the late morning. Daytime highs are expected to be in the low- to mid-80s. Overnight temperatures cool into the mid-60s.
THURSDAY: Rainstorms and possible thunderstorms may develop by Thursday morning. Sunshine returns by the afternoon. Daytime highs will be around 82 degrees, with overnight lows around 64 degrees.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies, with temperatures around 81 degrees. Friday will be the best day of the week. Overnight lows will cool into the low-60s.
SATURDAY: More rain returns, which may be heavy at times. Several inches of rain are possible. Temperatures will be slightly cooler in the low-70s. Overnight lows will be around 63 degrees.
SUNDAY: Rain early in the day, followed by sunshine. Daytime highs are expected to be around 77 degrees. Overnight lows are expected to be approximately 59 degrees.
