New Jersey has the possibility of seeing severe storms late Tuesday afternoon into the evening.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Lauren Due says Tuesday will also see temperatures into the 90s.
OVERNIGHT: Mainly clear skies, with humid conditions. Temperatures cool into the 70s.
TOMORROW: Hazy, hot and humid. Daytime highs in the 90s. Storms are expected to arrive around 6 p.m. and could continue into the late evening. Godynick says North Jersey could have the greatest risk for severe weather.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Rain expected to continue into Wednesday’s early morning hours. Temperatures cool into the 70s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Hazy, hot and humid conditions. Daytime highs around 91 degrees. There is a slight chance for a pop-up storm. Overnight lows around 71 degrees.
COMING UP: Thursday, Friday and Saturday all expected to see sunny skies with temperatures in the 80s. Rain possibly to return by Sunday.
