New Jersey is expected to see rainy and cloudy weather for the next several days, with the chance of some thunderstorms.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that although rain is expected this weekend, it won’t be a complete washout.
Friday night will see mostly cloudy skies with areas of fog developing after midnight. Some rain is possible. Overnight lows will be around 62 degrees.
Saturday will see mostly cloudy skies, with some rain developing after 12 p.m. Scattered thunderstorms are possible throughout the afternoon. Daytime highs are expected to be in the low-70s. Overnight lows will cool to around 62 degrees.
Sunday is expected to start off cloudy, with some partial clearing possibly by the afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the upper-70s.
A total lunar eclipse will happen Sunday night. The moon will be completely covered by Earth’s shadow, causing it to appear to be red. Depending on how much rain and clouds stick around Sunday night, the eclipse may not be visible.
More rain is expected on Monday. The day is expected to start off cloudy, with thunderstorms potentially developing by the afternoon. Daytime highs are expected to reach 80 degrees, with overnight lows around 58.
