What started off as a cold Monday morning soon warmed up into a pleasant afternoon. However, the sunny weather will soon end, as rain is expected Tuesday.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says clouds are expected to develop after midnight and rain should develop for the morning. Temperatures, which reached the low-60s Monday, are expected to drop into the high-40s overnight.
Tuesday is expected to start off cloudy, with periods of light rain throughout the day. Temperatures may reach the low-60s, but should cool towards the evening.
The light rain could last until Wednesday morning, but skies are expected to clear by Wednesday afternoon. High temperatures may reach 60 degrees.
The rain is expected to return Thursday with temperatures in the mid-50s.
